SILBERTAL SKI HOLIDAYS

The ski holiday resort of Silbertal is one of the villages that make up the Montafon ski region. Silbertal accesses 2 separate ski areas, the Hochjoch ski area as well as the Kristberg area. Of these 2 ski areas, Hochjoch is the far bigger and better equipped, whilst Kristberg offers a lower , smaller ski area that is popular with winter walkers, beginners skiers and families. Hochjoch on the other hand offers some of the best skiing in the Montafon ski region with the area made up of 2 main bowls and then slopes down to both Silbertal and Schruns. The skiing best suits intermediates and beginners, whilst there is an impressive kids learning area at the Kapell lift complex, toward the Schruns area of the Hoch Joch.
