Beginners have a ski area in the edge of the resort although they should download from mid-station in the main ski area to avoid crowded pistes. For intermediates the skiing in Soll is perfect.

SOLL SKIING

The Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser ski area which the ski holiday resort of Soll is a part of offers around 250km of mainly intermediate and beginner ski pistes. The Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser ski area has a huge ski lift infrastructure and most of the ski pistes there are around or below the tree line, making for interesting descents into the many villages that surround the Ski Welt ski area. The most distinct point above the tree-line is the conical shaped Hohe Salve peak that dominates the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser ski area. From the chapel and restaurant at the top there are fantastic panoramic views across the region. The Hohe Salve is also the departure point for the best advanced skiing on the entire Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser area.

SOLL SKI INFORMATION

Soll is ideally located beneath the Hohe Salve and as such has excellent access to this terrain. The ski holiday resort of Soll is located centrally within the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser area and it is easily possible to ski to the boundaries of the ski area in all directions for pretty much all levels of skier above beginner. The other villages on the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser make an interesting trip for lunch. For those who take après ski seriously then being back on the Soll side of the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser area by 4pm is a must.

Have just returned from a 5 day break in Soll Austria, not enough time to cover the 250+km of piste, but plenty of time to get the flavour. As a mixed group of Intermediate Boarders/Skiers we were very satisfied and there's plenty more to discover on our next trip there.

Good snowpark, with some fun jumps.
