ST ANTON IN MONTAFON SKI HOLIDAYS

St Anton in Montafon is the first of the ski holiday resorts in Montafon that is reached by road from the main valley. There is no skiing directly out of St Anton in Montafon although the resort offers good access to both the Golm and Hochjoch ski areas, whilst the Silvretta Nova and Gargellen ski areas are further up the valley. Less touristy than some of the ski holiday resorts in Montafon, St Anton in Montafon is low rise and attractive, in keeping with the other villages in Montafon but has a good mix of locals as well as visitors. Because of its location at the entrance to the Montafon ski region, this part of Montafon sees some heavy traffic during peak periods of the year. St Anton in Montafon is also connected to the national rail network.
