ST ANTON SKI HOLIDAY INFO

St Anton is certainly the best ski area in Austria for expert and extreme skiing. There are the obvious areas around the Valluga but also great off-piste in the Rendl area of St Anton as well as the peripheral areas around Stuben. St Anton boasts some of the best ski guide companies in Austria and heli-skiing is available close to St Anton. The village of St Anton is both lively and charming with a main street running the length, much of it pedestrianised. The relocation of the old train station has created an area for new bars and cafes as well as a Spa / Wellness centre. One drawback to the ribbon development is that some accommodation can be out of town.

ST ANTON SKI HOLIDAYS

The best in Austria. For extensive skiing, superb advanced and extreme terrain, stunning scenery and a village that is both charming and pulsating - then St Anton has no equals in Austria and few beyond. Beginners and those staying at the edges of St Anton come off worst but for intermediate and above skiers the area is superb, whilst St Anton centre is easily accessed via public and hotel buses. The ski area is huge with something for all above raw beginner, whilst the snow fall around St Anton is some of the best in Austria. The only downsides are the consequences of the great appeal that St Anton creates. St Anton has a wide range of resort facilities for the family although the skiing is not best suited to absolute beginners.
