ST CHRISTOPH FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS
For some families then St Christoph offers a wonderful base for a family ski holiday in Austria. The location and proximity to the ski slopes is superb. The ski lifts in St Christoph are situated in the centre of the resort and ski pistes run back directly to the resort. There is a beginners’ ski area on the edge of St Christoph and many hotels back onto this area. Restaurants with large terraces are also found in this area and are a great place to meet for lunch. The skiing above St Christoph is pretty gentle and for parents wanting more challenging and extensive ski terrain then the ski area of St Anton is easily accessed. Hotels in St Christoph offer a wide range of services and facilities, whilst the ski school is based in the centre of the village.

ST CHRISTOPH FAMILY SKI INFORMATION
But it is not all rosy for families in St Christoph. There is a busy road running through the heart of the village taking traffic from St Anton through to the other resorts in the Arlberg. The traffic is usually slow and calm usually but it can be heavy, especially on weekends. Whilst the resort hotels have a good number of facilities, many geared to families, there is a lack of facilities outside of the hotels. And whilst the St Christoph ski area is well suited to beginners and intermediates, it is all located above the tree-line and can suffer poor visibility in bad weather.
