ST CHRISTOPH SKI HOLIDAYS

St Christoph is an upmarket village on the Arlberg pass between St Anton and Zurs. It has a number of impressive hotels and has a superb snow record. St Christoph is high, is located above the tree-line and most of the winter is buried in snow. The lifts running out of the heart of St Christoph access the main ski area above St Anton which St Christoph shares on a ski pass. The skiing in the St Christoph area is far more compact than that above St Anton but essentially the ski whole ski area is shared and in fact St Christoph offers the easiest and fastest way to access this superb ski area. The village of St Christoph has few facilities outside of the big hotels and the main road running through St Christoph detracts somewhat from the secluded feel.

THE GOOD, THE BAD

Good  We like:
Accesses the best skiing in Austria, above St Anton

Bad  We don`t like:
Upmarket village but little to do outside of hotels

ST CHRISTOPH SKI HOLIDAY INFO

The combined ski area that St Christoph shares with St Anton is the best in Austria. The snow record is superb, the lifts modern and the ski pistes extensive. There is abundant advanced and extreme terrain on offer whilst the ski area just above St Christoph offers moderate to easy, wide open pistes and a small learners area. The resort of St Christoph features numerous impressive and good quality hotels. All have excellent access to the slopes and the ski lifts in this compact village. The great snow record ensures that the village is often blanketed in deep snow. On the downside the village has the main road to Lech and Zurs running through it.
