ST GALLENKIRCH FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

At the top station of the St Gallenkirch ski lift, the Bella Nova area has a small kids ski area with rope tow and ski school. Compared to numerous other Austrian ski holiday resort, the kids area in the Bella Nova area of the Silvretta Nova is surprisingly limited. The area lacks the moving carpet lifts and animated furnishings of so many other resorts. Possibly soon to be addressed, as of winter 2007/8 the area has poor kids facilities.

ST GALLENKIRCH FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

The resort of St Gallenkirch is also not ideal for kids. Accommodation is often spread out across the sizeable village and there is a tendency for guests to drive from accommodation to the lifts, creating moderate traffic. In the region there are better alternatives to St Gallenkirch, including Gargellen that offers better access to and from the slopes, has a centrally located kids ski area and has less through-traffic.
