ST GALLENKIRCH SKI HOLIDAYS

St Gallenkirch is the best located ski holiday resort accessing the impressive Silvretta Nova ski region, the biggest and widely regarded as the best in Montafon. Gaschurn is the other option with a direct lift into the Silvretta Nova but the lift from St Gallenkirch reaches the main section of the ski region, the lift from Gaschurn does not. The skiing in Silvretta Nova is ideally suited to intermediates but there are also some impressive ski routes and some great off-piste bowls. The run back to St Gallenkirch from the Silvretta Nova ski area is long and blue and despite heavy traffic at the end of the day is a great piste for the less able skiers. St Gallenkirch is a fairly spread out ski holiday resort and the lift is located just out of the village / resort centre.

The Silvretta Nova ski region that is accessed from St Gallenkirch is rated as the best in Montafon. It is the biggest, has great intermediate skiing but also some excellent off-piste and ski route terrain. The ski holiday resort of St Gallenkirch is the primary resort accessing the heart of the Silvretta Nova ski region. St Gallenkirch is fairly spread, attractive and low rise. There is good après ski at the lift station but the centre of the resort is strangely quiet in the evening.
