STUBAI GLACIER FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

The Stubai Glacier has one of the best kids learning areas to be found in the Alps. The Gamsgarten lift station has an extensive complex of restaurants, shops and facilities and is located next to the main kids skiing area. The lift company runs a kids club that includes skiing tuition, creche facilities and indoor activities including painting and a playground. Meals are served in a cordoned off area and parents can watch from the comfort of the sun terraces at the complex and ski around the area, returning at will. For advancing kids there are adjoining slopes served by lifts including a very slow if modern chair. Beyond that the Stubai Glacier provides excellent ski terrain for improving skiers.

STUBAI GLACIER FAMILY SKI INFO

The Stubai Glacier has excellent family facilities as well ideal ski terrain to advance into. When the bad weather sets in then there are activities inside the Gamsgarten lift complex for kids. That is a good thing since once of the draw backs of the Stubai Glacier is the height; it is great for snow conditions but at the height of the winter conditions can be cold and windy, not ideal for encouraging the kids to venture out in.
