STUBEN FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

Stuben offers a wonderful atmosphere and charming village for a family ski holiday. The main street through Stuben that runs alongside the river is pedestrianised, intimate and often deep in snow. Despite the main road through the region passing close to Stuben, the village retains a really peaceful and secluded feeling. There are a number of attractive restaurants in Stuben and bars offer terraces to soak up the afternoon sun. The main lift accessing the ski area is conveniently located close to the church and compact nature of Stuben means that there is little that is out of the way in the village.

STUBEN FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

For families the lack of major facilities for leisure and entertainment could be a drawback. Stuben is charming, mainly because of its compact nature but it does lack the facilities that other resorts in the Alrberg boast. Another issue is the fact that one of the beginners ski areas is located on the opposite side of the main road to the village of Stuben. The road can be heavy with traffic and whilst the village is mostly shielded from the noise, there is an issue of road safety for families.
