Hotel Mondschein

Stuben is pretty much a ski-in, ski-out ski holiday resort, with just short paths to some accommodation. The Hotel Mondschein is located on the main street of Stuben which is often deep in snow. Stuben is extremely atmospheric and compact, whilst the Hotel Mondschein, which dates from 1739 exudes style and charm.

Recognised and listed amongst Michelins - Best Restaurants 2009, their Panorama restaurant in the hotel offers outstanding food. The Hotel Mondschein also owns and operates an impressive mountain hut, situated on the lower slopes of the Stuben ski area, offering traditional live music, beers, wines and light snacks.

Essentially though, the Hotel Mondschein is a skiers and snowboarders hotel, offering a quite superb location in the centre of Stuben, with immediate access to the far end of the St Anton ski area (minus the queues) and what is widely regarded as some of the best off-piste terrain in the Alps. Following a day on the mountain, the newly renovated pool with aqua jets, a sauna and a massage salon are offered to guests in the wellbeing are of the hotel. The open fire in the lounge is the ideal place to unwind with a glass of fine wine.
