VANDANS THE RESORT

Accessing the Golm ski with an 8 seater gondola located on the edge of the village, Vandans serves one of the 4 principal ski areas in Montafon. The ski holiday resort of Vandans is pretty spread out and has a relaxed and spacious feel to it, although some accommodation is a (free) ski bus / car ride away from the main lift station. There is a ski piste that runs back down to the base station of the Vandans gondola. Vandans is located close to St Anton in Montafon, Tschagguns, Bartholomaberg and Schruns, four of the bigger villages in the Montafon ski region. Vandans is one of the lower resorts in the Montafon ski region but the Montafon ski region as a whole has a good snow record and snow making usually ensures the run back to Vandans is open.

VANDANS RESORT INFORMATION

Vandans is located near the beginning of the valley that is home to the ski holiday resorts of Montafon. Fortunately the busy road that carries the huge numbers of visitors to the area is shielded from Vandans by the river and flood plains that form a welcome barrier. Traffic within Vandans tends to be local rather than the through-traffic that can be heavy through Montafon.
