WARTH-SCHROCKEN THE RESORT

The twin ski holiday resorts of Warth-Schrocken access the biggest and highest ski area in the Bregenzerwald ski region. Of the 2 resorts, Warth has more of a resort feel to it as it stretches along the valley the road the hugs the mountain side. Warth is not ski-in, ski-out but has good access to the skiing from much of the accommodation, with lifts leaving the resort centre and ski pistes back to the village. Schrocken has no lifts linking into the Warth-Schrocken ski area but does have a ski route back to the resort. Schrocken is spread along a climbing road and has less of a resort centre to it. Both Warth and Schrocken have excellent snowfall records that add to their visual appeal.

Warth had a good deal going on in it and had a great location and pretty fair prices.
