WARTH-SCHROCKEN SKIING
The skiing and snowboarding in the Warth-Schrocken area is ideal for beginners, with a dedicated ski area located at the base station and some really gentle gradients. Intermediates have some interesting piste terrain to explore with nothing in the area too steep. Advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders come to the Warth-Schrocken ski region to take advantage of its unbeatable snow record – having the highest snow accumulation of any ski area in Europe means many days of excellent powder skiing. The total size of the ski area is just short of 70km but with the extensive off-piste factored in the Warth-Schrocken is far bigger. It is possible to ski into both Warth and Schrocken although lifts do not leave Schrocken.
THE GOOD, THE BAD
We like:
The best snow fall record in the Alps with excellent off-piste
We don`t like:
Not too much for better skiers / snowboarders on-piste
