WESTENDORF FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

With the main beginners ski area in Westendorf located close to the village centre, access to kids is ideal from much of the accommodation in Westendorf. The village has a pleasant centre and après ski is contained although fairly lively in small pockets. Whilst Westendorf does not have a dedicated pedestrianised area, traffic is discouraged using the centre and the wide pavements around the church and village council offer a relaxed pedestrian area. One of the downsides of Westendorf is the fact that the gondola which accesses the main ski area is located outside of the village centre which can mean a walk or ski bus.

WESTENDORF FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

Locally there are numerous villages to explore either by day or night. Kitzbuhel just down the valley has endless resort facilities both for day time activities and night time entertainment. The wonderful medieval centre is perfect for families with endless restaurants, cafes and bars. For kids wanting to explore the area then the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser ski region is ideal for families to navigate. The skiing is extensive, but signposted and offers endless km’s of intermediate skiing.
