WESTENDORF SKIING
Westendorf is ideal for intermediates and beginner skiers, with less for the advanced skier or boarder. For beginner skiers and boarders the main learners area is ideally located just outside the centre of the Westendorf. Beginners a few days into their instruction will progress up the mountain and the runs to be gentle, fairly wide and tree-lined. For intermediates the skiing is ideal with some long reds and blues running from the top of the ski area, back down into Westendorf. They can also look further afield with the nearby Kitzbuhel ski region and the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser area offering huge intermediate skiing terrain. For advanced skier there is less on offer, although the nearby areas do offers some options.

WESTENDORF SKI INFORMATION
Advanced skiing in Westendorf is limited and has to be searched for, being off-piste t the piste edge or in the trees. Further a field are the ski area of Kitzbuhel and the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser. Both offer slightly more for the advanced skier since they are far bigger ski areas. Kitzbuhel has the famous Hahnenkamm downhill run to tackle, whilst the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser area offers some good steeps off the Hohe Salve peak that dominates the area
