ZAUCHENSEE SKI HOLIDAYS

Zauchensee is the higher resort in the combined Altenmarkt - Zauchensee ski area. Zauchensee is a purpose built ski-in, ski-out ski holiday resort and is an integral part of the combined Ski Amade ski region. Although one of the few purpose built ski holiday resorts in Austria, Zauchensee is attractive and low rise. Zauchensee is essentially ski-in, ski-out and offers the biggest ski area, the best lift system and the more challenging ski terrain of the combined Altenmarkt - Zauchensee ski area. From the Zauchensee ski area, skiers and boarders can continue into the Ski Amade area, into the ski areas of Flachauwinkel, Wagrain, Alpendorf and St Johann.
