ZELL AM ZILLER THE RESORT

Zell am Ziller is the principal town of the Zillertal Valley and as well as being a ski holiday resort, it is a working town. There are numerous facilities as a result, including train and road connection to the main Innsbruck valley, entertainment and leisure facilities as well as a genuine Austrian feel. Transport connections enable visitors to Zell am Ziller to conveniently access it as well as other local resorts. The lift into the Zillertal Arena is located on the outskirts of Zell am Ziller which is not ideal for visitors, whilst most guests will download into Zell am Ziller from the ski area. But for a genuine Austrian experience, in a town that accesses some of the best intermediate skiing in the Alps then Zell am Ziller is a great option.
