WHISTLER FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

With such a massive organisation behind Whistler-Blackcomb as Intrawest, the family market is one that is that is actively pursued. The ski schools have developed creche and ski school programs directly for childrens needs. Whistler-Blackcomb has smoke free restaurants and the centre of Whistler is entirely pedestrianised. There are leisure facilities and shops dotted all over Whistler.

WHISTLER FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

For family skiing the fact that Whistler-Blackcomb receives great powder snow accumulations is of little comfort when for days on end it is difficult to see the end of your skis, let alone a son or daughter. Of all the downsides to a family ski holiday in Whistler-Blackcomb, the weather would likely score highly. The fact that Whistler-Blackcomb has a great expanse of tree-lined ski pistes is a welcome refuge but the weather in the coastal mountains of British Columbia can be extremely bad, if not as cold as resorts further from the coast.

My family loved this place. Our children had a blast and as parents we felt reassured that the famil friendly atmophere was expertly presented by the canadians
