Brides les Bains, France skiing and snowboarding holiday guide.

BRIDES LES BAINS SKI HOLIDAYS

Brides les Bains is a resort of association. It became the 1992 Olympic Village and has lift access to Meribel and the Three Valleys ski region. It also offers superb access to other ski areas in the region for those who have access to a car. Brides les Bains is thought of as a budget location for access to these many regional ski areas, although the town is in itself a spa town with an authentic local population and a good range of amenities. Brides les Bains rarely sees sufficient snow to ski back down to the town (off-piste) and guests to Brides les Bains usually need to download by lift or take the road route to return from Meribel and the Three Valleys is area. Brides les Bains is faster to get to than higher resorts and offers more options in exploring the region.

BRIDES LES BAINS SKI HOLIDAY INFO

The skiing whilst not on the doorstep of Brides les Bains is superb. A lift from Brides les Bains connects the town to the Three Valleys ski resort of Meribel and the biggest lift link ski area in France. From Brides les Bains there are some of the biggest ski destinations in France a short drive away, including La Plagne and Les Arcs. Brides les Bains is more a town than a resort. It has a French local population that is rare in French ski resorts and has an atmosphere that is refreshingly different to the service and tourism led nature of the Three Valleys ski resorts above it. Slope-side, Brides les Bains is not but it has great road access to the region as well as a lift.
