CHAMONIX APRÈS SKI
Apres ski in Chamonix is pretty unique. The town boasts one of the best alpine histories in the world. Chamonix has become very gentrified in recent years and fur coats are seen in numbers in the main street. Coupled with this, skiing and snowboarding has grown over the last decades and Chamonix now boasts increased numbers both in the town and the surrounding area. Traditionally these three groups would want different types of entertainment. The fur coats would go for sophisticated cafes and bars, the alpinists would choose the odd beer and a high-carb bowl of food, whilst skiers and boarders prefer the comfort of boots till late. Chamonix is a bit of a broad church in that all the groups co-exist in the town, prices can be steep but this is Mont Blanc.

CHAMONIX APRÈS SKI INFORMATION
One trap not to get caught in is the drunken recollection of days heroic adventures. Hero stories that might follow a day of cruising the pistes of La Plagne are not going to cut it in the centre of European alpinism.
