Mostly suitable for Expert skiers who love off-piste skiing!!

The place where the 1st Winter Olympics took place! Famous and well known all over the world!

Cosy atmosphere and great views!!

Many pubs, shops, nightlife & gourmet restaurants.

Not a lot of off piste skiing since we went early in January. Valee Blanche was closed due to lack of enough snow.

Very lively apres ski places.

Don't snowboard but the skiing is terrific and would like to ski mountaineer in Chamonix because it is such an amazing place.
Better for advanced skiing I think and the lift system was brilliant and we travelled extensively because we like the journeying.
Would like to have done the Vallee Blanche but it was not in condition.

Expensive but liked the resort because it is a mountaineering resort so the old town is interesting and more unspolit. The sights are wonderful.

Went with guys so cannot comment with any fairness on family issues. (My Dad liked it though!!)

Great, challenging ski areas with some amazing off-piste but in reality too spread out, weather prone and to an extent over-hyped as a ski destination.

One of the most iconic alpine towns with great atmsophere. Lots of traffic and many new, soul-less hotels though.Incredible surroundings.

Great resort, full of amenities but to get to the dispirate ski areas requires a lot of travelling.

Great and numerous bars but can be expensive in some places.

Good vibe on piste and in town, lots of Brits! Good or bad? You decide
