COURCHEVEL 1650 SKI HOLIDAYS

Courchevel 1650 is one stage down the mountain road out of Courchevel 1850 and represents a better value option from which to explore the superb Courchevel ski region. Courchevel 1650 is located on the furthermost edge of The 3 Valleys ski area, at the opposite end to Val Thorens. It is therefore further to get all the more distant reaches of The 3 Valleys but also has minimal through skiers that are common in other resorts. The resort of Courchevel 1650 is attractive enough with most accommodation strung out along the road although there are slope-side chalets, just not as exclusive and expensive as those in Courchevel 1850. The skiing is somewhat unusual in that tree cover is found higher up with little around resort level.

THE GOOD, THE BAD

Good  We like:
Cheaper alternative to Courchevel 1850 with same great skiing

Bad  We don`t like:
Less good access to slopes, exposed ski area with no tree cover

COURCHEVEL 1650 SKI HOLIDAY INFO

Courchevel 1650 accesses some of the best ski resources in France and as a base has great access to the superb skiing above Courchevel 1850. The resort of Courchevel 1650 offers less expensive living, whilst similarly good access to the excellent ski resources in Courchevel and beyond in The 3 Valleys.
