COURCHEVEL 1850 SKI HOLIDAYS

Courchevel 1850 is the biggest, highest, best known and most exclusive of the Courchevel 1850 Courchevel resorts. It is famed for its influx of rich Russians at the beginning of January and for most of the winter is visited by wealthy guests. The altiport located in the middle of the ski area is a give away as to the guests it attracts. With the best access to the skiing and a good deal of high quality, ski-in, ski-out accommodation along the pistes above the centre, Courchevel 1850 is a serious ski holiday destination as well as being a place, steeped in hype. For those on a budget then Courchevel 1850 is not ideal as a ski holiday base, with other resorts in Courchevel offering better value but for the ultimate in the region, Courchevel 1850 delivers.

COURCHEVEL 1850 SKI HOLIDAY INFO

The skiing at Courchevel 1850 is rated as some of the best in The 3 Valleys, which in turn is regarded as possibly the best ski region in France. The skiing caters for all levels. The resort centre is pretty functional with lifts and some fairly uninspired buildings, but accommodation is where Courchevel 1850 scores highly, with attractive stone chalets lining the ski pistes.
