LA ROSIERE SKI HOLIDAYS
La Rosiere offers high altitude skiing and boarding in the Tarentaise, between big league resorts such as Val d'Isere and La Plagne. With a resort height of 1850m and a great record for snow accumulation, La Rosiere offers good on and off-piste skiing. The downside is that much of the skiing is similar, with little in the way of testing terrain. The resort of La Rosiere is attractive enough with the majority of the resort being low-rise and clad in wood and stone. Heavy snow falls do nothing but add to the appeal of the resort, although La Rosiere offers little away from the skiing. The resort is purpose built and mid-sized by the focus is very much on the skiing and snowboarding. La Rosiere is linked with the Italian ski resort of La Thuile.

LA ROSIERE SKI HOLIDAY INFO
The skiing and boarding in La Rosiere is best suited to intermediates. Beginners have a reasonable area just above the resort, whilst advanced skiers and boarders will have to venture off-piste. La Rosiere is attractive, low-rise and often deep under snow. For a purpose built resort, there is little to do away from the slopes. Families will like the terrain on offer and the lack of après ski. La Rosiere is noted for being a sunny resort and the beginners area is just above the village.
