LES ARCS SKI HOLIDAYS
Les Arcs is part of the Paradiski ski region with La Plagne and Peisey-Vallandry and offers intermediate and advanced skiers in particular a massive choice of wide open ski pistes. Glacier skiing is accessible from Les Arcs, ensuring snow reliability. Les Arcs consists of Bourg Saint Maurice, Arc 1600, Arc 1800 (Charvet, Villards, Charmettoger and Chantel), Arc 1950 and Arc 2000. Variations between these ski holiday resorts are great whilst Bourg Saint Maurice is connected to the ski area via funicular and is located down in the valley. The resorts are high on convenience and generally offer ski-in, ski-out accommodation. Arc 1950, the latest addition to Les Arcs offers a stark alternative to the incumbent resorts in terms of appearance and function.
THE GOOD, THE BAD
We like:
High and some excellent advanced skiing in impressively big ski area
We don`t like:

LES ARCS SKI HOLIDAY INFO
Les Arcs is lift linked with La Plagne to form the Paradiski ski region, offering over 400km of ski pistes, some 140 or so lifts, glacier skiing and a series of resorts that are generally superbly located for the ski slopes and lifts. Les Arcs has a great range of ski piste classifications and much of the skiing takes place above 2000m, often providing excellent snow conditions high up. At this height there is a complete lack of tree cover, which can be an issue when poor weather arrives in the region.
