This resort has a range of areas at different heights - although not that long, there are quite challenging runs at resort level which remain accessible and on which skill practice can be undertaken when higher areas are no-go due to bad weather. There are nursery slopes at resort level, at 2100 and right up on the glacier too in summer.

No, maybe its not chocolate box, but the people are very open and friendly and the resort itself is mainly flat, so no icy inclines to contend with. Yes it is a bit spread out, but there are efficient free buses running non-stop if you don't want to walk, and ski routes across the middle of the resort level slopes that take you from one end to the other via a poma or two.

Didn't go with a family.

Am not a great drinker - there was plenty for those that are, yet plenty for me too - good range. Does swimming in an open air pool in driving snow count??

Fantastic skiing, great resort, great snow, great night life!

Plenty to do in the resort! My wife was in her element with all the shops available, and there is a fantastic choclate shop with s chocolate fountain in the Window. We went skidooing one evening and it was great fun!

Every family we saw were having a great time!

Plenty of bars at the bottom of the pistes for that first drink, and a godd choice of venues to go to later on. We tried to keep a clear head to enjoy the skiing!

The resort also communicates with La Grave which is excellent for off piste skiing.

High altitude skiing with one of the biggest glacier skiing areas in the Alps and some challenging runs. Good slopes at the edge of Les Deux Alps and high up on the glacier but the difficult runs back to the resort are far from ideal. Les Deux Alps is a good choice for advanced skiers and boarders, when the advanced terrain of Les Deux Alps is exhausted then La Grave beckons to test the very best - guides are essential!

Pretty good facilities but long and drawn out with heavy traffic. The heavy traffic and dull, drawn out nature of Les Deux Alps do nothing for the atmosphere although apres ski is excellent.

Lots of après ski, steep runs back to the village and lots of walking.
