MORILLON SKI HOLIDAYS
Morillon is a small, twin centre resort that accesses the impressive Le Grand Massif ski area that it shares with Flaine, Les Carroz and Samoens. Morillon is made up of 2 separate stations, Morillon the village based at 700m in the valley and Morillon Grand Massif which is located at 1100m and forms a small ski-in, ski-out village at the mid-station. Morillon the original village and valley station is small, charming and authentic and has slope-side accommodation located around the main gondola. Morillon Grand Massif is a purpose built resort set in the trees and in the middle of the ski area. It is small, well designed and attractive and has a dedicated childrens ski area. It offers great access to the slopes but lacks the charm of Morillon.
THE GOOD, THE BAD
We like:
Attractive and authentic village that accesses the Grand Massif ski region
We don`t like:
Very quiet village with few amenities off-slope

MORILLON SKI HOLIDAY INFO
Morillon accesses Le Grand Massif ski area which boasts a combined ski area of some 265 km of ski pistes and just short of 80 lifts. The skiing is mainly beginner and intermediate in the Grand Massif ski area. The ski area at Morillon offers a good amount of tree-lined skiing and has some interesting pistes. The village of Morillon is charming and whilst not as beautiful as the neighbouring village of Samoens, if has real character. This is no mega resort; there are a few shops and a number of restaurants but the village existed before the ski lifts and Morillon is definitely full of character (if sleepy). Morillon Grand Massif (1100m) offers great access to the slopes.
