PUY ST VINCENT SKI HOLIDAYS

Located in the Haute Alpes, to the south of Serre Chevalier, Puy St Vincent has a medium sized ski area and resort that is ideal for families. The skiing in Puy St Vincent is limited compared to most of the connected regions and mega resorts in France but for those new to skiing or snowboarding and those with families, then the size of the ski area in Puy St Vincent is one of the main attractions. The terrain in Puy St Vincent greatly favours the beginner or early intermediate and the altitude means that the area above the two resorts of Puy St Vincent 1400 and Puy St Vincent 1600 is tree-lined. The ski area reaches an impressive top height of 2700m.

PUY ST VINCENT SKI HOLIDAY INFO

The ski holiday resort of Puy St Vincent is purpose built and whilst it is not going to win any awards from HRH Prince of Wales, it is on the scale whish makes it less offensive than bigger cousins. The skiing is never going to challenge the better skiers and boarders in Puy St Vincent and that is one of the main attractions. The ski area is compact, offers good beginner and family skiing. Puy St Vincent is not a mega resort, has mixed access to the slopes from the accommodation but the skiing is ideal for families. It has fewer (but still ample) facilities than other purpose built resorts.
