We went with Premiere Neige in the end because of the great things we had heard about their creche. Having small children aged 3 and 5, we were able to put out 3 year old in full day creche and then our 5 year old went to ski school in the morning and was collected and taken to the creche for the afternoon. We were able to take the children out as we pleased (we did want to spend some time with them!) but this was never a problem. We found the facilities in the creche to be of an extremerly high standard and the nannies, all English speaking, to be nothing but professional and caring. They also provided a babysitting service on the one night us grown up's went out for dinner.
Ski school was quite crowded, as it was half term, however my 5 year old thoruoughly enjoyed himself and the ski instructor was very friendly and spoke very good English.

SAINTE FOY FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

For families seeking a really peaceful ski holiday in France that is a throw-back to the days when not every resort was linked and facilities were sparse then Sainte Foy en Tarentaise is certainly an option and one of a dying breed. There are few resort amenities, accommodation is more scarce than many other French resorts and the ski area and lift system are limited. A family ski holiday in Sainte Foy en Tarentaise will be very different from many of the large French resorts but for some that represents the best reasons for heading to Sainte Foy en Tarentaise.

THE GOOD, THE BAD

Good  We like:
Great atmosphere and authentic village

Bad  We don`t like:
Few amenities in the village

SAINTE FOY FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

Change is certainly visible in Sainte Foy en Tarentaise and those returning after a few years will have seen that there are a number of new developments. The developments do not yet include big communal amenities but the resort is certainly growing toward that. For blissful family holidays that are a throw back then head to Sainte Foy en Tarentaise soon.
