TIGNES APRÈS SKI

The après ski scene is fairly decent in Tignes. The resort complexes boast zero charm but there is a good spirit in the numerous bars and clubs. That said this is no Val d'Isere, and whilst the bars are busy it is some way short in terms of atmosphere of it near neighbour.

TIGNES APRÈS SKI INFORMATION

Just further up the valley or over the back of Toviere, Val d'Isere offers one of the best après ski scenes in the whole of France. The mixed nationalities of those in the thick of the après ski give it a good international flavour and whilst getting merry comes at a price, Val d'Isere is a good alternative to Tignes. Taxis back are not cheap so get a group together and hope they don’t hook up for the night with Swedish models in Petit Danois.

Not bad at times, but nothing compared to Val just over the mountain
