great skiing, really up to date lift system, resort really easy to navigate around.

Good snow, good cross section of mountain restaurants with many which were good value for money.
Community events were fun and interesting with carnival atmosphere including drumming, fireworks and ice sculpting.
Ice driving circuit available. A good time for us to be there because there were World Championships planned for the area.
Would definitely go again.

Not particularly pretty. Typical modern resort.

Did not take children so unable to comment on classes and creche facilities.
Did not seem particularly well suited for children though in general.

Prices varied but did not seem outrageous if you were prepared to shop around.

My girlfriend is not great on a board and had a hard time last year. I have been boarding for 4 years now and cannot get enough of this place.

We were a mixed ability group and as expected the better of us had a great time, those with some experience also, but some in our group found the step up the mountain rather intimidating.

One of ours faves but can be very expensive for certain things.

Great area for beginners located in the centre of Val d'Isere but the runs back to the resort are tough - steep and crowded. Val d'Isere has some of the best advanced and off-piste terrian in France.

Val d'Isere is pricey and has a mixed bag of development. The centre of Val d'Isere is attractive but La Daille is a shocking architectural misadventure.

Good central beginners area but steep slopes back into Val d’Isere and heavy road traffic through the resort.

The best but some of the most expensive as well.
