VAL D'ISERE SKI HOLIDAYS
Val d’Isere is the giant of French skiing; it hosts world cup, Olympic and world championship ski races, is rated as amongst the best ski area in France, has glacier skiing and an upmarket and impressive resort. Val d’Isere is linked to the neighbouring ski area at Tignes and the combined Espace Killy ski area has 90 lifts, 300km of ski pistes and a top height of over 3400m. Skiing is available across the spectrum, from endless intermediate cruisers, to the mogulled Olympic downhill course at Bellevarde, as well as extensive off-piste skiing. There are numerous access points to the skiing as Val d’Isere spreads out along the valley. A resort height of 1850m ensures good snow down to Val d’Isere and après ski and nightlife is famous.

The main childrens’ learning area is located in the heart of Val d’Isere and lifts leave many parts of the valley to reach the skiing above Val d’Isere. All levels of skier and boarder are catered for in the extensive Espace Killy ski region that is shared with Tignes.
