SAUZE D'OULX FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

Sauze d'Oulx has a number of features which make it a poor choice for families. The beginners ski area located at the edge Sauze d'Oulx is steeper than is ideal, with alternative areas being located further up the mountain. The resort has relatively poor connectivity between accommodation, the lifts and the Sauze d'Oulx ski pistes. As well as some accommodation being distant from the skiing, Sauze d'Oulx has some steep walks given that the town is built on the sloping mountainside. The centre of Sauze d'Oulx is pedestrianised which is a welcome feature for families taking a ski holiday, but outside of this central area, Sauze d'Oulx can experience some heavy traffic.

Loud après ski, heavy traffic outside of town centre and challenging learners area

SAUZE D'OULX FAMILY SKI INFO

Whilst après ski in Sauze d'Oulx has calmed over the years, the resort still offers a fairly potent mix of après ski and nightlife. The bars located in the centre of Sauze d'Oulx rumble on till late.

I went ther by myself, but I went at the same time as two families that I knew, and they had a great time. Their children skiied with us, so I don;t know about ski school and so on, but the facilities for the kids were great!
