KLOSTERS SKI HOLIDAYS

The ski holiday resort of Klosters accesses the impressive ski region of Davos and offers a far more sedate and traditional ski holiday resort atmosphere than its bigger neighbour Davos. The skiing in the Davos region is best suited to intermediates, although almost 40% of the terrain is classified as advanced. From Klosters the ski lift departs for the Parsenn ski area whilst on the opposite side of the valley the Madrisa sector of the Davos ski region is accessed from the satellite village of Klosters Dorf. From Klosters it is also possible to ski the other sectors of the Davos ski region, although this is not possible without a bus or private transfer across the valley floor.

KLOSTERS SKI HOLIDAY INFO

From Klosters the Parsenn ski area is most easily accessed from Klosters although from the small outlying area of Klosters Dorf, a ski lift accesses the Davos ski sector of Madrisa. The Parsenn ski area is the biggest single ski area in the Davos ski region and it is possible to ski into Davos via the Parsenn ski area from Klosters. Intermediate skiers and snowboarders are best suited to the Klosters terrain although there is impressive off-piste terrain for the better skiers and snowboarders. Beginner skiers and snowboarders visiting Klosters are better off using the Madrisa ski area. The skiing takes place both above and below the tree-line in Klosters.
