VERBIER SKI HOLIDAYS
Verbier is one of Switzerlands’ mega resorts, with huge skiing resources, a sprawling resort and worldwide profile. The skiing and snowboarding in Verbier is ideal for advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders. For intermediate and beginner skiers or snowboarders then Verbier offers less. Verbier has grown greatly over the decades and is now a sprawling ski holiday resort made up of endless chalets and impressive hotels. Access to the skiing resources very much depends on the location of accommodation, with lifts accessing Savoleyres and Les Ruinettes departing from the edge of opposing sides of Verbier. Annual ski and snowboard events testify to the quality of Verbier, whilst the après ski is superb.
THE GOOD, THE BAD
We like:
Amazing expert terrain and great après ski to brag at
We don`t like:
Popularity leads to crowded slopes. Some Verbier accommodation can be a slog to the lifts

VERBIER SKI HOLIDAY INFO
For expert skiers and snowboarders then there are few better places in Europe than Verbier. Host of annual extreme ski and snowboard events, Verbier is recognised as offering superb expert terrain. Guides are both highly rated and necessary. Ski routes are abundant, whilst the front face of Mont-Fort offers some great steep skiing for the best skiers and snowboarders. The popularity of Verbier both domestically and internationally is the chief drawback for those beginners and intermediates unable to escape to the off-piste. The intermediate slopes can be crowded which is far from ideal for intermediates or beginners needing to progress into them.
