JACKSON HOLE SKI HOLIDAYS
For advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders then Jackson Hole offers some of the very best terrain in the whole of the US. With around half of the ski terrain classified as black and various impressive off-piste and tree skiing on offer then Jackson Hole has few equals as an expert dominated ski area. The top lift at 3185m is high enough to ensure a great snow record, whilst the northerly location in Wyoming ensures enviably dry snow. The ski holiday resort of Jackson Hole has a real western feel to it and there is a sizeable local population of ‘hard core’ skiers and snowboarders that give the place a true alpine feel. Changes are afoot although Jackson Hole remains a very serious alpine centre.

JACKSON HOLE SKI HOLIDAY INFO
With around half of the ski terrain in Jackson Hole classified as expert then the resort is justifiably recognised as one of the elite, expert only resorts worldwide. Additionally there is steep off-piste on offer, whilst Jackson Hole has a great snow record and the tree skiing can be outstanding. Rendezvous and Après Vous make up the skiing sectors although Snow King is an alternative sector right by the town. Rendezvous is the really challenging area with the Corbets zone reserved for the very best. For those not wanting to throw themselves down fearsome steeps or dig for hours in powder snow for lost skis then Jackson Hole does not totally preclude. Beginners are best served on the lower slopes of Après Vous.
