SOLDEN GLACIER SKI HOLIDAYS

There are two glaciers that make up the Solden glacier ski area, the Rettenbach Glacier and the Teifenbach Glacier. The Teifenbach Glacier is marginally higher and bigger, whilst the Rettenbach Glacier is easier to get to from the main ski area and hosts FIS ski races. Both have a base station with restaurant and parking and both the Rettenbach Glacier and the Teifenbach Glacier offer wide, gentle ski slopes and nearly always excellent snow conditions. The views from the 2 glaciers are superb with 2 vantage points widely publicised. The suspended bridge at the top of the Teifenbachbahn has superb views but is something of a test of will for some as it hangs above precipitous drops. Both glaciers are on the Solden ski pass.
