ST ANTON FAMILY SKIING
With a pedestrianised main street and the Wellness and leisure area, St Anton has added new facilities that will appeal to the family visitors. The wellness area consists of swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor as well as an outdoor ice rink. Ski schools in general are big and offer a very high level of instruction and care and in the evenings there are sleigh and toboggan rides as well as hotel and village based entertainment. Despite the fact that St Anton is known for its lively apres ski, the resort is fairly upmarket and its atmosphere on the whole is pretty refined.

ST ANTON FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS
Some of the drawbacks to a family holiday in St Anton include the spread out nature of the village. There is a good selection of accommodation in the centre of the village but the majority is located at a distance requiring a ski bus or a walk. Much accommodation offers transfers to the slopes and village centre to their guests but there is a limited supply of slope-side accommodation. Other things to consider are the fact that the main ski pistes back to St Anton and the lifts for downloading can get very crowded and chopped up late in the day. There are alternatives such as skiing the St Christoph blue pistes in the last hour or so and then having an easy download.
