ARABBA SKI HOLIDAYS

The ski holiday resort of Arabba is one of the villages on the famous Sella Ronda ski circuit and has access to the glacier skiing on the Marmolada Glacier. Set amongst wonderful Dolomite scenery Arabba offers two main ski areas and ski piste access to the lift accessing the Marmoloda Glacier. There are 4 distinct sectors in the Arabba ski area: Passo Campolongo / Corvara, Passo Pordoi / Canazei, Porta Vescovo and the Marmoloda Glacier. Ski safaris are very possible as is the famous Sella Ronda ski circuit that navigates in a circular fashion the ski holiday resorts of Arabba, Corvara, Colfosco, Canazei and Selva Gardena. In suitable conditions most reasonably experienced skiers can complete the Sella Ronda in a day.

The main advanced skiing is located in the Porta Vescovo with a couple of blacks coming down from the peak. The Porta Vescovo area is located directly above and is accessed from Arabba. Intermediate skiing is scattered widely across the Arabba ski region and the Marmolada Glacier. The beginner skiing is also widely scattered and in this sense it is not ideal for those new to skiing or snowboarding. One characteristic of the skiing and snowboarding area at Arabba is the spread nature of the skiable terrain - the Arabba ski terrain allows long ski safaris to outlying areas in the ski region. The Marmolada Glacier ensures snow quality and reliability in Arabba.
